Parents evening waiting arrangements - Thursday 27th November
Thu 27 Nov 2025Dear Parents and Carers,
We have made a slight amendment to the arrangements for today's parents evening. The parents evening appointments will now take place in the internal corridor directly outside your child's classroom. The books for the following appointment's child will be laid out in the classroom to allow you to view your child's workbooks in the classroom prior to your appointment. The aim of this is to minimise the amount of time spent waiting outside in the cold weather.
Instructions to access the classrooms remain the same: to access year 3 classrooms, the front gate to the left of the main entrance will be open. For access to the year 1,2,4,5, & 6 classrooms, please use the KS2 gate (by the bike sheds to the right of the main entrance) and walk around the school to the relevant classroom. Please note that you will not be able to gain access to any other classrooms via the year 1 gate.
If you have any queries, please contact your child's phase leader.
Kind regards,
Alex Leese

Car Park Access
Fri 07 Nov 2025Dear Parents and Carers,
In order to ensure the safety of all members of our school community, parents and carers are not permitted to park in the school car park unless explicit permission has been granted by the school.
Car Park Gate Times:
The carpark gates will be closed and staffed during drop-off (8:30 - 8:45 AM) and pick-up times (3:10 - 3:25 PM) to control access and maintain safety.
The slightly longer morning gate closure is to provide additional safety for our school community as they enter the school site.
Please do not attempt to open the gates yourself; they will be opened by a member of staff.
If your child is to be dropped-off or collected by someone other than yourself, please can you make them aware of these arrangements.
Respectful Behaviour:
We ask that all parents and carers treat our staff with courtesy while they are on duty in the car park. Any abusive or rude behaviour may result in a ban from using the car park.
Alternative Parking:
For those who need to drive to school, we have arranged for parents and carers to use the nearby Lidl car park. We encourage you to use this facility wherever possible and walk the short distance to school.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our school community safe.
Kind regards,
Amy Leighton

Poppy Sales- Royal British Legion
Wed 05 Nov 2025Dear Parents & Carers,
Following the success of last year's Poppy sales, we have once again volunteered to sell Poppies to raise money on behalf on the Royal British Legion. We will have both Poppies and Poppy accessories such as wristbands, snap bands and keyrings available for the children to purchase.
We will be holding Poppy sales on both Thursday 6th November and Friday 7th November and children will be allotted time per year group to visit the hall and make their purchases.
If your child would like to purchase a Poppy or Poppy accessory, we would ask that you send them to school on the 6th or 7th November with small change in their book bag/folder. For Poppy accessories, we do suggest a minimum donation of £1.00.
Kind Regards,
Alex Leese
